Toffee Graham Crackers
1 stack graham crackers broken into 1/4ths
2 sticks (1/2 pound) butter or margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup very finely chopped nuts (I use pecans)
1 jelly roll pan
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the above ingredients in a small boiler. Bring to a rolling boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
Place the graham crackers flat on the jelly roll pan. Pour the liquid mixture over them. Place the pan in the oven and bake 5-8 minutes. Remove them from the pan after they are cooled.

Yummy!! I tried a recipe almost exactly like this last Christmas! It was sooo delicious and everyone loved it! Had at a party, but also gave to a few people as a little gift in a cute holiday box! Your recipe is even easier than the one I had, so will keep this one for sure. Happy Cooking!

These are some of the AWESOMEST things I have EVER put in my mouht!!!! Mmmmm!!!!
Hi Everyone. Thank you for all of your comments. These are really delicious and I'm glad you liked them. A glass of good, fresh, cold milk is fantastic with these.
Another way you can make these is to put some milk chocolate chips on top of these while they are hot and spread them out over the crackers. If the crackers aren't hot enough, place them back in the oven for just a minute to allow the chocolate to move and be spreadable.
Food-Kids-Recipe, I have linked your site with mine. Thanks for adding me to yours.
Everyone have a wonderful afternoon!
This sounds good and easy.
Looks really good I will give it a try.
My nephew's grandmother makes these for him every Christmas, and they are indeed very tasty. I'll have to try making these myself. :)
I have had these or something like them before. I can now try to make them myself from your recipe. Thanks for posting it!

OMG! My heart skipped a beat when I saw this post. My grandmother used to make these. She's been gone over 10 years and I haven't been able to duplicate this recipe. Thank you so much!
What a nice little treat!
